Purlins offers spacious, Non Smoking, Self-Catering holiday accommodation for two adults in the annexe of this converted coach house and stable block, within 200 metres of the open New Forest.

Regrettably - No Pets due to resident Border Collies.

Holiday Annexe

Situated in the village of Woodlands with easy access from Junctions 1,2 and 3 on the M27. It is ideally situated for exploring the forest, on foot, by bike or by car, being only 4 miles from Lyndhurst, the "capital" of the new Forest. The waterfront city of Southampton, where there is a main line station, theatre and new shopping complex, is 6 miles away. As well as the New Forest on the doorstep, with its wealth of attractions, the historic Portsmouth Dockyards, Winchester, Salisbury, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight are all within easy reach for day visits. There is a good selection of pubs and takeaways in the area if cooking is not high on your holiday agenda!

The self-contained holiday annexe has off road parking. Private entrance is via a garden path and patio, which opens into a spacious bedroom with King size bed. There is also a large open plan living/dining room with sofa bed and archway to a well equipped kitchen. A small hallway leads to a modern bathroom with shower / bath.

How to find us

Show me a map

South from J.2 on the M27, travel for about 2 miles along the Totton ring road. Turn right at the 2nd roundabout towards Netley Marsh and left into Woodlands Road. You will find us about 1 mile along the road situated on the right hand side of the second Z bend. If you pass Hotel TerraVina on the left then you have just missed us!

From Lyndhurst on the A35, turn left into Woodlands Road, signposted Woodlands. Travel about 1 mile to a T junction and turn right. You will find us on the left hand side of the Z bend about 200yds from the cattle grid, just after passing Hotel TerraVina on the right.

East from J.1 on the M27, turn right into Bourne Road, signposted Woodlands and follow the road for about 1 mile. After crossing the 2nd cattle grid you will find us on the left hand side of the Z bend, just after passing Hotel TerraVina on the right.
